This beautifully appointed and enchanting little cottage is located in a quiet lane in the heart of the village of St Buryan, just a stone’s throw from the village pub. Cozy Cottage dates back to the 1800’s and, externally, this mid terraced property has changed very little. After a complete refurbishment by the present owners, the interior has been transformed to create a fabulous holiday home.
Slate floors on the ground floor with cosy rugs, a wood burning stove in the lounge and some original wooden floorboards upstairs, along with a modern kitchen and bathroom, complete the look.
To the rear of the cottage is a conservatory which gets the late afternoon and evening sun – the ideal place to sit and relax with a glass of wine!
The garden at the front of the house is a suntrap with privacy provided by a privet hedge. Al fresco meals can be enjoyed on the patio, surrounded by pots of colourful flowers.
There is a small yard at the back of the house for storing bicycles, hanging wetsuits and drying off surfboards at the end of the day.
St. Buryan is famous for its Grade 1 listed church and its bells have the heaviest full circle peel of six in the world. The village is surrounded by evidence of human activity from Neolithic times – celtic crosses, burial chambers, stone circles such as the Merry Maidens and holy wells. It’s close to the sheltered valleys of Lamorna, Penberth and St. Loy and the pink shelled beach at Porthcurno and the surfing beach at Sennen Cove. The famous Minack Open Air Theatre is close by.
Cozy Cottage is an all year round destination, whether you are lazing on the beach during the summer or watching the Atlantic waves as they crash over the breakwater at Sennen in the winter.

Directions
When you reach Penzance stay on the A30 and follow the signs for Land's End. Approximately 3 miles outside Penzance take the left turn signposted to the Minack. When you reach St. Buryan you will see the church on the right and the pub on the left. Immediately opposite the pub you need to turn right down a narrow lane between the Londis shop and the public toilets! The road bends to the right, then find somewhere to park on the left. Walk back about 20 yards and Cozy Cottage is the second from the left in the terrace - you can recognise it because the walls are painted grey.
