Self catering holiday cottage, Porthcurno
The School House, built in the 1880's, was originally a church property and in the 1920's it was used as a private school set up for Cable & Wireless employees. Later it was used as a social centre with films showing every Friday, euchre drives and the like. It is a 3-bedroomed detached, granite house set in its own private garden. It's a few minutes walk from Porthcurno Beach, one of the most spectacular beaches in the country. It's just 1/2 mile from the famous Minack Theatre. Land's End and the sandy beach at Sennen Cove, ideal for surfing, are just 3 miles away. Porthcurno beach cafe, Cable Station Inn and Porthcurno Stores all within walking distance.

Directions
When you reach Penzance stay on the A30 and follow the signs for Land's End. Approximately 3 miles outside Penzance take the left turn signposted to the Minack. Drive through St. Buryan and continue (watching out for the hairpin bend!) until you see a left turn signposted to Porthcurno. Drive down into the valley. The School House is situated 20 yards beyond the shop on the lefthand side. There is a large sign, visible from the road, so you shouldn't miss it!
