Self catering apartment, Porthcurno

"Top Deck" is a first floor, 2-bedroomed apartment in an attractive building, once part of the Cable & Wireless training school. It's situated in the picturesque valley of Porthcurno within a short walk of one of the most spectacular beaches in the country. It's just 10 minutes walk to the famous Minack Theatre. Land's End and the sandy, surfing beach at Sennen Cove are just 3 miles away. Porthcurno beach cafe is 3 minutes walk, ideal for morning coffee or a cream tea.  The Cable Station Inn is 1 minute away.

Reasons to choose this property:

  • 6 minute walk from the beach
  • Ideal base for Minack theatre actors or for attending a performance
  • Free use of tennis courts opposite
  • Two allocated parking spaces
  • Light and airy
  • Top Deck is above Beachcomber so if you wanted to be close to other family or friends they would be good to book together

Reviews

A great holiday apartment - use of the tennis courts is great for children

Thanks for a fantastic base for a perfect honeymoon week.  Who needs the Med when Porthcurno is this idyllic?

The apartment was immaculate.  The walks to the east and west of Porthcurno are superb and we recommend the walk to the Logan Rock pub

Something for all of us - the boys would have stayed on the beach all day and all night, grandparents enjoyed the Telegraph museum and the coastal walks - we just chilled out.

The dolphin display off the beach was magnificent

A week here has been good for us: body and soul.  Fantastic walks and the tea garden at St. Loy was a delight.  Woods and hedgerows full of spring flowers.  Lots of gannets and seals along the coast.  We've got brown faces and achey legs and feel really sad to leave

My daughters and I have been coming to Porthcurno for the last 7 years and we have visited many places around the world but we always look forward to our week here

1. good off road parking. 2. pub = 1 minute. 3. beach cafe = 3 minutes. 4. beach = 6 minutes. 5. Minack Theatre - 10 minutes - wonderful!

Directions

When you reach Penzance stay on the A30 and follow the signs for Land's End. Approximately 3 miles outside Penzance take the left turn signposted to the Minack. Drive through St. Buryan and continue (watching out for the hairpin bend!) until you see a left turn signposted to Porthcurno. Drive down into the valley - Zodiac House is the white building on the righthandside opposite the tennis courts. There is a gate across the entrance - for loading and unloading purposes only it is possible to drive through this gate. To find Top Deck go up the wooden stairs just inside the gate. The car park is opposite the apartments and the allocated parking spaces are marked on the ground with the number "2".
